$185,000 Settlement For Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, age 32, was struck by a driver that attempted to pass her as she made a left turn. Initially, plaintiff did not seek medical treatment, but the following day, her pain grew to an unbearable level and she immediately sought medical treatment at the hospital.  She was eventually diagnosed with severe disc herniations and radiculopathy. After trying to relieve her pain through epidural steroid injection failed, plaintiff ultimately underwent surgical intervention to her lower back. The Defendants argued that Plaintiff’s injuries were pre-existing as she underwent chiropractic treatment pertaining to her neck and back beginning in 2009 and up until one week prior to the accident.

The case settled on April 2, 2019 for $185,000 prior to trial.
