Thomas Snyder To Participate In Day Long CLE Program For The Practicing Law InstituteMay 22, 2014
Denville, NJ — On May 27, 2014, Thomas J. Snyder, Esq. will be one of a handful of attorneys who will be participating in an all day continuing legal education seminar for attorneys entitled New Jersey Basic CLE Marathon 2014 which will be taking place live in New York City and via simultaneous webcast.
The annual program, being organized by the Practicing Law Institute (PLI), is designed for newly admitted attorneys to satisfy their mandatory continue legal education requirements in New Jersey and will include modules on Civil Trial Practice, Criminal Trial Practice, Basic Estate Planning, Real Estate Closing Procedures and New Jersey Family Law Practice. Mr. Snyder, a family law practitioner and Partner in the law firm of Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, PC in Denville, NJ is teaching the New Jersey Family Law Practice Module. He will be discussing various issues including New Jersey Courts venues and jurisdictions, Matrimonial Issues (divorce, annulment, alimony, child support and equitable distribution), New Jersey’s Family Collaborative Law Act, and significant cases which have shaped New Jersey Family and Matrimonial Law.
Thomas J. Snyder, Esq. devotes his legal practice exclusively to the practice of family law. Over the course of his career he has been involved in, and litigated, many landmark cases in the state of New Jersey. Mr. Snyder is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is a member and past chair of the Family Law Executive Committee for the Family Law Section. He has provided testimony on behalf of the New Jersey State Bar Association to both the Senate and Assembly Judiciary Committees in regard to the New Jersey Marriage Equality Act. He has testified before State Legislators on multiple occasions in connection with the proposed modifications to the New Jersey’s Adoption Statute. He has also testified before the New Jersey Assembly Judiciary Committee in connection with modifications to New Jersey’s Alimony Statute.
