Timothy Ford to Present at AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention

Timothy Ford has been chosen as a member of the faculty for the American Health Care Association (AHCA)/National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Annual Convention & Expo, October 7-10 in San Diego, CA.

Tim will address the legal, administrative, and practical issues surrounding the use of both granny cams and other cameras around the building in long-term care facilities in,”Rights, Responsibilities and the Law Regarding Granny Cams and Other Cameras in Long-Term Care.”  The presentation will review the relevant laws throughout the country along with the risks, benefits, and challenges.  He will cover various statutes/regulations, HIPAA, privacy, social media, wiretapping, employment issues and more.
