Cimmerian A. Morgan, Esq.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2014, Cimmerian A. Morgan Esq., attorney with the firm Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC, will be presenting a seminar, along with three other experienced family law attorneys, entitled “What You Need to Know About New Jersey’s New Alimony Bill.”  The seminar will be hosted by the Financial Advisors of Freedom Divorce Advisors, a division of AEPG Wealth Strategies.

The seminar will provide an analysis of how the newly signed law has reformed the alimony statute in New Jersey and how it will affect individuals both during and after divorce litigation. Mr. Morgan will be discussing how the new law affects post-divorce applications to modify alimony obligations on the basis of the supported spouse’s cohabitation with another adult in a romantic relationship.  For many years, New Jersey Courts and family law practitioners have struggled with the issue of whether and how alimony should be modified when the ex-spouse who is receiving alimony begins to cohabit with another adult in a romantic relationship.  The new reforms to the alimony legislation seek to simply the way in which Courts address and adjudicate this issue.
