Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey Appoints Einhorn Barbarito Attorney, Ivette Alvarez, To Chair of JPAC

Denville, NJ – The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey has appointed Ivette R. Alvarez, Esq., an attorney with the law firm of Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC, Chair of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC) for 2013.

Ms. Alvarez has been an active member of the Hispanic Bar Association for many years and was a former President of the Association.  She had also served as Northern Vice-Chair for the New Jersey State Bar Association JPAC for six years.

In her capacity as the Chair of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey’s JPAC, Ms. Alvarez and her committee advocate for an increased Hispanic Representation in the Judicial and Legal system in the State of New Jersey.  The committee interviews and vets potential judicial candidates and investigate where openings for Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments exist.  The JPAC (and the Hispanic Bar Association) then recommend the candidates to the Governor for nomination to the Supreme Court, Appellate Court and Superior Courts in the state as well as the Administrative Level Courts and Prosecutorial positions.
