Gary R. Botwinick Reappointed By Governor To New Jersey-Israel CommissionFebruary 8, 2013
Gary R. Botwinick, Esq., a partner at the law firm of Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, P.C. in Denville, New Jersey, was re-appointed by Governor Chris Christie for a second term as a member of the New Jersey – Israel Commission.
The New Jersey-Israel Commission, which is part of the New Jersey Department of State, was established in 1989. According to the New Jersey Department of State website, its goal is to help promote the development of trade, culture and educational exchanges, as well as the development of capital investment and joint business ventures between the State of New Jersey and Israel and encourage a spirit of cooperation.
“This is a great honor,” said Mr. Botwinick, “I am happy to serve once again with the distinguished group of people that the Governor has chosen to be a part of this commission.”
Mr. Botwinick chairs the firm’s Trusts/Taxation & Estates Department and represents families and individuals concerning estate planning, business succession, taxation and related matters. He handles complex estate controversy matters as well as estate administration matters. Additionally, he works closely with Einhorn Harris’ Family Law Department in complex divorce matters involving executives and officers of some of the largest publically traded companies in New Jersey. He is experienced in the preparation and negotiation of premarital agreements and palimony matters. He also has a busy tax controversy practice where he represents individuals and entities against the IRS and the New Jersey Division of Taxation.
