June 6, 2013 | Results may vary depending on your particular facts and legal circumstances.

Denville, NJ – Einhorn Barbarito is pleased to announce that Jason R. Rittie, Esq. has been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District XB (West Morris/Sussex Counties) Ethics Committee.

The attorney disciplinary system oversees all attorneys practicing in the State of New Jersey and that they are complying with all State ethics rules.  The attorney disciplinary system consists of three levels:  1) the Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE) and District Committees, 2) the Disciplinary Review Board, and 3) the Supreme Court of New Jersey.   The District Committees are the first group that a lawyer has to go in front of if there are any allegations of misconduct and ethical violations.   Each attorney who is appointed to a District Committee volunteers a considerable amount of time investigating grievances, prosecuting complaints, conducting hearing and issuing reports.

Jason R. Rittie, Esq. will serve a four year term beginning on September 1, 2013.  When asked about his appointment, Mr. Rittie said:  “I am truly honored.  I know it is going to be hard work, but I think that attorneys self-policing our profession allow us to assure that our clients have ethical attorneys with whom they can work.”
