Linda Mainenti Walsh, Esq. to Speak at Middlesex County Bar Association on Gender Bias in Legal Profession
October 16, 2012On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, Linda Mainenti-Walsh, Esq., Counsel to the firm of Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC and a member of the Matrimonial Law Department, is speaking to the Middlesex County Bar Association on Gender Bias in the Legal Profession. This seminar takes place on the 2nd Annual Professionalism Day for the State of New Jersey.
Ms. Mainenti-Walsh, Chair of the Bar Education Subcommittee of the Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts, will be joined by Emily Kaller, Esq., the vice chair of the same committee. The presentation will be moderated by the Honorable Frank Ciuffani, Presiding Judge, Chancery, Middlesex County Superior Court. The seminar will educate and sensitize the bench and bar on Gender Bias Issues affecting the profession. It will also address how Gender Bias affects litigants and attorneys, examining how these issues arise in the first place. It will also discuss the ethical and professional responsibility rules that must be taken into consideration.
Committed to ending Gender Bias in the profession, Ms. Mainenti-Walsh has been giving this seminar across the state for the past few years. She has been involved in the Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts since 2008 and was recently appointed to her third 2 year term with the committee.
The program takes place at the Middlesex County Courthouse Jury Assembly Room in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Attorneys who attend can obtain CLE credits towards their mandatory continuing legal education needs.
