Jhanice V. Domingo, Esq. Elected as Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey

Jhanic V. Domingo, Esq., an attorney with Einhorn Harris Ascher Barbarito & Frost, PC, was elected as Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA/NJ) for the 2011-2012 Executive Board.

 

While attending Seton Hall Univeristy School of Law, Ms. Domingo became an active member of the Asian Pacific Law Students Association (APALSA).   Her dedication and leadership skills led to her election as APALSA’s President during her 3rd year.  As President of APALSA, Jhanice V. Domingo worked alongside the APALA/NJ and the Asian American Legal Defense & Education Fund in organizing various programs and networking events beneficial to Seton Hall Law’s Asian and Pacific American law students.

 

Ms. Domingo continued to be an active member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association in her professional career by serving the APALA/NJ in various capacities.  In 2006-2007 she served as the co-chairperson of the APALA/NJ Membership Committee; in 2010-2011 she served as the co-chairperson of APALA/NJ Pubic Relations Committee and as the Corporate Secretary of APALA/NJ Golf Committee.

 

Ms. Domingo is an associate with the Denville, New Jersey law firm, Einhorn Harris Ascher Barbarito & Frost, PC., a full service law firm with the largest matrimonial law department in the state of New Jersey.  As a member fo the firm’s matrimonial practice group, Jhanice V. Domingo handles a wide variety of family law cases that encompase many diverse issues including divorce, child custody, alimony & child support, equitable distribution, palimony, pre and post-nuptial agreements, civil unions, etc.  Ms. Domingo has been recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyersfor her work in family law and was named a Rising Star in 2009 and 2010.

 

APALA/NJ, which was founded in 1985, is the largest speciality bar association that collectively represents the intersests of Asian and Pacific American lawyers in the state of New Jersey.   The 2011-2012 APALA/NJ Board will be installed on May 13, 2011 at the APALA/NJ Annual Dinner at at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
