Ivette Ramos Alvarez

Ms. Alvarez makes a commitment to educate every client about the law, every step of the way, so together they can achieve the best possible outcome.  A zealous advocate for her clients, Ms. Alvarez has a strong work ethic that makes her a daunting adversary in court. She graduated from Columbia Law School while working in a family business and raising a toddler and teenager.  She knows only too well that holding lives together while going through what can be an emotionally devastating experience and adhering to Court requirements and deadlines can be daunting.  She understands the challenges her clients face every day, which is why she chose to focus her legal concentration in family law. With extensive courtroom experience, she skillfully guides them through the process while protecting their interests. She prides herself on having an open communication style that builds trust, expedites the legal process and minimizes frustration for her clients and opponents. She is in constant communication with her clients throughout the process and makes herself accessible to them whenever needed.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Alvarez is dedicated to serving the interests of the Latino community. She has worked tenaciously to advance the Latino legal profession since she became an attorney. A past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, Ms. Alvarez lectures on Latino legal matters and has appeared on CNN Espanol, among other outlets. She has also contributed her time and talent to the Resource Center for Women, an education-driven not for profit center supporting women.
