Patricia M. Barbarito, Esq., 2004 Tischler Award RecipientDenville, NJ April 6, 2004 - Patricia M. Barbarito, Esq. has been selected to receive the 2004 Saul A. Tischler Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section. This prestigious award is presented annually in recognition of a person who has made a substantial impact upon the development of family law and the legal profession. It is presented for lifetime contributions to the advancement of family law in the State of New Jersey. Ms. Barbarito, a partner in the Morris County law firm Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, P.C., served as the 1996/1997 Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Family Law Section. She is a certified matrimonial lawyer, has been a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. With her firm since 1980, she takes great pride in the firm's prominent 13 attorney matrimonial law department. An enthusiastic and committed family law practitioner, Ms. Barbarito frequently lectures for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers on such topics as equitable distribution, alimony, child custody and the practice of family law. Ms. Barbarito resides in Boonton Township, New Jersey with her husband, Randy Marton, M.D. and children, Jacqueline and Victoria. The Tischler Award will be presented at the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section's Annual Dinner on May 4, 2004 at the Short Hills Hilton.
